This privacy policy describes how LOC & IVY LLC ("we," "us," or "our") treats personal data in our applications available through the Microsoft Store for Windows devices.
1. Information Collected
We collect nothing. Our Windows applications operate locally on your machine and do not gather, request, or transmit personal information. They require no account or sign-in, and everything an app needs is installed with it.
2. Windows Capabilities
We declare only the capabilities an app genuinely needs, and Windows prompts you for any capability that requires your consent. Our current apps request no access to your webcam, microphone, location, contacts, or personal file libraries.
3. Settings Stored on Your Device
Our apps save your preferences, such as your chosen theme, display settings, and window size and position, so they can be restored the next time you open the app. These settings are written to the local storage belonging to that app on your machine. They are never transmitted to us or to any third party, and they are removed when you uninstall the app.
4. Diagnostics and Telemetry
We do not build any telemetry into our apps. If a Windows app crashes, Microsoft may make an aggregated, anonymous crash report available to us through Partner Center. These reports describe the failure itself, contain no personally identifiable information, and are governed by the privacy practices of Microsoft. We use them only to diagnose bugs and improve app stability.
5. Data Sharing
Because we collect no user information, we have nothing to share, sell, or rent, and we do not do so.
6. Data Security
Our apps store no personal data and send nothing over a network, so there is no personal information that could be exposed through them. We implement commercially reasonable security measures across our development and distribution process.
7. Children's Privacy
Our apps comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our apps are not directed at children.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Uninstalling an app removes all of its local settings from your machine. If you believe we hold information about you nonetheless, you may request its deletion by writing to the address below and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Please review this page periodically.
